As an experienced NYC physician and ICU director, Beno Oppenheimer, MD identified an urgent clinical need to improve the quality of CPR both in-hospital and pre-hospital. Beno conceived of the idea of using innovative technology to improve cardiac arrest care and partnered with Adam LaPrad, PhD. With a strong biomedical engineering background, Adam brings 10 years of innovative medical device leadership to Relay Response.
